Quick Start

At the bottom of this page is a list of choices that determine how the pages of this site should be formatted, that is, how they will appear in your browser. Select one, or use the pre-selected default, and press the Submit button. If you care to understand what you are being asked to do, read on. You can change the stylesheet at a later time by selecting the "Select Stylesheet" at the top of most internal pages.

Style Sheets

This site is built using CSS stylesheets. This makes it possible for you, the user, to select any of the available "skins" to format the AE pages. In fact, it is possible for you to use a style sheet of your own design to view the AE pages. Modern browsers should have no or little difficulty correctly displaying these pages. Older browsers should still display the content in a usable format. Use the "none" option to view the site with no style sheet applied to the page. Layout Cookies

Use the form at the bottom of this page to select the style sheet you want to use. The result of this operation is a cookie being created and installed on your computer. Your browser will send this cookie on every subsequent request to the AE server. This cookie consists of "layout=id" along with an expiration date, there is no other information included in the cookie to identify you. Currently, the expiration date for the layout cookie is 1 year from the creation date. Each change will reset the expiration date.

You Don't Accept Cookies

If you have configured your browser to not accept cookies the default style sheet will be used. The default style sheet is currently the 640 option below. The default style sheet is not the same as "none" (no style sheet).
